Answer:
Drink a lot of water before going out so that you will fill up easily. Also, in the fast foods that you go, stay away from starches like bread, rice. Choose vegetables, beans and grilled meats. But the key is drink plenty of water.

Answer:
Taco Bell has the al fresco thing now. woo. Report It

Answer:
Applebees, Chilis, Taco Bell, etc are all really bad places to eat. Really good, but really bad for you!

All of them have nutritional information on their websites. To give you an idea of the damage, a salad at Chilis can run you up to 1,000 calories! A burger, 1,700. At Taco Bell, the steak quesadilla is around 500-600 calories. Not to mention that most of this food doesn't have much nutritional value.

I would stick with lighter fare- salmon, fish, steamed vegetables, salads with grilled fish or grilled chicken and vinagrette dressing, grilled chicken sandwich (eat half), etc. A lot of these restraunts have a section of their menu that says 'lighter' or 'guilt free'. Order something from that part of the menu and take some home :)

Answer:
Mexican restaurants are the hardest places to eat right as it seems like they have carbs in everything. I try to limit my carb servings to one per meal. So, if you're having a burrito, do not have a carb on the side. Don't drink any soda..have water.Stay away from fried foods and go for the fresh veggies instead of fries or rice. At a taco bell, have a soft shell (tortilla that hasn't been fried) taco or burrito, and no chips. If we're going out, I always try to find a sandwich shop such as Subway or Quiznos. It is much easier to eat healthy in those places. Other fast food places always have good choices, but it's hard to choose them when you smell fries! But you must be strong. Go for the salad with recognizable meat (i e…don't pick the fried meat salad…bad bad bad!!). Have salsa or nonfat dressing if possible. Do not eat creamy dressing. IT's loaded with fat and calories. If they can omit the cheese, that's a good idea too. Cheese is 70-80 per cent fat or MORE! Applebee's and Chili's have healthy alternatives. Look for the healthy menus at the chain restaurants. They almost all have them. TGIF's has some yummy Tilapia choices. If we MUST go out, I usually ask to go there.

Answer:
You simply dont go out to eat all the time. There are very few healthy meals at any of those places..if any.
