i am 12 years old i am 4'9 and weigh 85 lbs is that a lot? plz plz help because i wanna loose like 8 lbs should i??

NOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!! You haven't even hit your growth spurt yet ! Society preaches to all of us to be thin and that is just wrong. I weigh 169 pounds and am a 39 year old woman,,, but I'm solid as an ox, and still get called fat. Through the years I've learned how to be confident about myself and love the way I look. I just don't want to look like a string bean ! That just looks sickly to me. I have the beautiful curves of a beautiful woman ! At 12 I think I was still playing with action figures. Over the next 3 or 4 years your body shape will change so much there really is no reason to worry about it now. no dont lose any weight. your bmi is 18.4 and anything under 8.5 is classed as underweight. i think you could lose 8lb and still look ok because you are only 12 and not fully grown but i wouldnt recommend loosing so much at your age cus its not healthy. just eat a balanced diet and do regular excercise:) i know how you feel cus i always think i need to lose weight but my bmi is 18-19 so i dont either but i know how you feel lol. good luk xxx
