I've already got my braces and the expander but I would like to know what other people think of it. Just curious. What does it feel like? Did it make it hard for you to speak and eat? What’s the worst part? How many times do you’ve to brush your teeth a day? Did you get use to it? How old were you when you got your braces? Did it bleed? Sry if my questions are a bit awkward. thnx!★

Answer:
Well I don't feel my braces unless i get them tightened or if i run my tongue over them; i got my expander removed in (i think) October but i felt that all the time its like having a metal stick on the roof of your mouth with only a 1/2 inch between the palette and the metal. For the first month it was difficult to talk with the expander (the braces never gave me a talking problem) and i always had trouble eating with it. the worst part of braces is probably just the first week cause it hurts like crazy and the expander hurt every time you turn it. i brush my teeth twice a day and maybe a third time if i had a lot to eat. I got used to the braces, rubber bands, and expander but i never got used to the gap in my teeth (that the expander and rubber bands made!) I got my braces when i was eleven and i still have them on now (i'm 13). it only bled when i had a wire sticking out
