Also, they referred me to an endodontist to perform a root canal on me to save the tooth, but my endodontist doesnt have an open appointment until February 11th. is this too late?! i hope my tooth wont die by then!!! please help and answer ASAP thanks

Answer:
You should ask your dentist for a referral to a different endodontist; one that can get you in sooner. Or explain to the office staff that your face is swollen and that you’re in extreme pain. Maybe they can get you in sooner.

You do have an abscess and the tooth needs to be opened and drained so that the swelling can go down. Your tooth is already “dying”, that is why you need the root canal. But once that’s done, the tooth can still be saved.

Hope it works out for you and good luck

Answer:
You need to comprehend that your body's immune system does not do well with the teeth area because of low blood flow. A root canal has an 80% chance of succeeding. The problem is that dentists use very poor techniques and materials on people these days and you need to find a real orthodontist and dentist combination that’ll do the correct things for you.

They will drill out your nerve and leave a cavities where the nerve used to be. They need to let that dry out before filling it with materials. You need to tell the dentist that you do NOT want gutta percha to fill the canals. You also do NOT want him to use any liquid sanitizer like hydrogen peroxide or chlorhydrate because those only kill about 30% of the germs. You want a dentist that uses a dental laser to cleanse. Then you want to use a good filler like “endocal-10″ that expands slightly when put into the canals that’ll fill all the canals, unlike gutta percha that is a latex type material that contains lots of toxins. The most important thing is that you want to use Septocaine to deaden the nerves, not any of the other aniline chemicals like Lidocaine, Novocaine, Procaine, Carbocaine, etc. because those all produce aniline homologs that are AGGRESSIVELY CARCINOGENIC. Septocaine is the only one that does not produce those carcinogenic toxins. Then, you want to only use bonded ceramic as a crown, not composites or amalgam of any kind. And NO amalgam coatings should be put on the crowns as most dentists have done.

Dentists are looking at their costs and your health is secondary to them. That’s not simple to believe, but when you look at the facts, it always comes down to that.

The antibiotics will help with secondary infections, but you also get the booby prize, your intestinal flora that makes up 3/4 of your immune system is now gone. Also, the “T” cells in your humoral immune system have turned off that help you fight cancer. The aniline chemical issue is not trivial and needs to be given serious consideration. The carcinogenic nature of those chemicals is cumulative. Just one shot, 2cc of the Lidocaine, for example, will give you the equivalent of toxins of you smoking a pack of cigarettes everyday for 12.9 years. Add up the total shots they give you and you can begin to realize the impact on your body. Since it is injected into your blood stream, the body does not get rid of that chemical care about it does other toxins that you ingest. It's simply not a pretty picture.

good luck to you
