I’ve a dental mouthguard because I grind my teeth at night. It's a hard clear plastic. The dentist stated to store it in water each day but I didn't; just brushed it and now there's a tiny bit of mold on it. I soak it in Listerine each day but it hasn't helped the mold.

Can I use a little bleach, and if so what's the safest way? Or any other ways to get rid of the mold? Thanks.

Answer:
Actually as long as there is no metal on it, bleach is ok…I would dilute it 50/50 with water….let it soak for 15 minutes at least….rinse well, brush….that should help……….

Answer:
Use a denture cleaner…that's what I use on my mouthguard, you will have to brush it well with the cleaner to get the mold off.

Answer:
Probably not a good idea to use bleach…use hydrogen peroxide and rise the mouthguard well before use.

Answer:
try hydrogen peroxide otherwise try a denture cleaner
