Will braces make my mouth/lips look massive?

Ok so I am getting braces but only for cosmetic reasons so I am wondering, will they make my mouth look big?? [I have a medium- sort of small mouth with big teeth] please answer soon so I can know weither to get regular metal or invisalign! Thanks

I’ve regular braces, and I’ve to say in my case my mouth/lips don't look any different to how they used to. Same with other people I know.

no it doesnt. i have a rather small mouth and just got braces 2 mths ago. My lips and mouth look the same as they did before, well except when I talk, you notice the braces.

Regular metal looks superior, and tends to work superior too. Get that. It'll look fine in your mouth. Invisalign tends to not work as good AND its more pricey.

I cannot comment on Invisalign but I guess it would come down to finances and personal preference.

I’ve full lips to start with and my mouth didnt look any bigger when I had metal braces. It does feel care about it though. Invisalign are cool, but they can make you talk funny.

It'll feel like it looks more massive but it really isn't. I got mine today and my lip and mouth look the same unless you talkk.
