I'm thinking about trying the legal plant hallucinogen salvia. What did it do to you?

I felt like I had a metalic taste in my mouth. Weird, nothing I've tasted before.
Instantly, I felt heavy like I needed to sit down. My mind was lost and wondering quickly, I obviously wasn't my sober self. This continues for 5 minutes or so. Afterwards it's about the high of pot.
Personally, I don't hallucinate but a friend of mine thought he was in the war and got his legs shot off. He was trying to crawl to safety.
