I was reading on the bottle that you can't take more than 10 tablets in 24 hrs. What happens if you do? Just curious.

Answer:
If you take too much Melatonin, it will boost your Serotonin too high (which could cause extreme sleeplessness), which will throw off the rest of your hormones enough to cause major problems in mood (more emotional, more aggressive, or many other possible impacts), and just generally cause pain and annoyance for at least a few days until your body can process it out.

Most people misinterpret Melatonin to be like a regular sleeping pill where you can take more to make you more drowsy… but it doesn't. Too much Serotonin in your system actually has the opposite effect and it's harder to get to sleep when you have too much in your system. The reason is because Serotonin is the hormone that controls both the sleeping and the waking cycles… when your body states to wake up, it increases your Serotonin levels.

Good luck!
