A mustard plaster is made in the following way.

Take the powder of white mustard put in a pan of warm water

render it to a consistency of a semi-hard unguent.Using hot water causes the mustard to lose it curative strenght.spread a thin layer of this plaster on a thin piece of cloth and apply it to the affected area.keep it on for ten to fifteen minutes, where danger is forseen it could be held for a longer time.If after the application of the mustard plaster pimples appear ,smear olive oil or unsalted butter. This will take the pain away from them, and it will heal very quickley.

Answer:
You crush the leaves of the mustard plant to get the juices of the leaves out. Apply crushed leaves directly to the area that is injured. Cover with warm, moist cotton cloths. Change the whole plaster frequently until healing is felt. You might need to do this as frequently as whenever the cloths cool off. Get lots of mustard leaves.
